In many cases, this includes<em> il trucco<\/em> (makeup). The noun <em>il trucco<\/em> also means &#8220;trick,&#8221; so in a sense you are tricking the onlooker into thinking you have longer lashes that you actually do, or redder lips. Here you can learn the words for types of makeup and parts of your face in Italian. The verb <em>truccare<\/em> is used to mean &#8220;to put on makeup.&#8221; But the verb <em>truccare<\/em> also means &#8220;to cheat.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>So what do you call the parts of your face in Italian?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3><em>La testa (the head\/hair)<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yabla.com\/italian-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/la-testa.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-294\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.yabla.com\/italian-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/la-testa.png 640w, https:\/\/www.yabla.com\/italian-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/la-testa-300x169.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Italians usually say <em>la testa<\/em>, not <em>la mia testa<\/em>. For Italians, it\u2019s clear who the head belongs to. This goes for the other parts of the body, too. That makes sense, right?
